About the course

The BDS courses aim to impart Quality education & professional training to the student and equip them effective professional skills.

The college offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) 5 Years course as stipulated by the dental council of India, with an annual intake capacity of 100 Students.

    The teaching methods & evolution mainly aim to ensure the following
  • To have a sound theoretical knowledge base and clinical expertise.

For BDS Admission no candidate shall be allowed to the dental curriculum of first year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course unless they fulfill the following criterias:

  • She/he shall be a minimum age of 17 years on, or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course.
  • She/he must have passed 10 + 2 Examination with minimum 50% marks in Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB) and passed in English subject.
  • Candidates must fulfill NEET eligibllity criteria.

The under graduate dental training program leading to BDS degree shall be of 4+1 years with minimum of 240 teaching days in each academic year. During this period the student shall be required to be engaged in full-time academics.

Admission to BDS Course at Bhabha College of Dental Sciences is completed through a Common Entrance Test NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test ), conducted by the CBSE.
